These two stories were released from the La Jolla area announcing Dad's passing.
- Hubert Barden Wellcome passed away on January 5, 2019. He and his beloved Carolyn, his devoted and beautiful wife, lived by the sea. His days in this idyllic place were filled with fun and laughter and they made each day special. Through Carolyn he made long lasting friendships and had beautiful adventures.
- As a teacher he made an impact with his students still felt years later as they share how his love of learning made a difference in their lives. He was kind and personable with a delightful sense of humor. As a husband he was loving, attentive and devoted. As a friend he shared his smiles and if you were lucky, his hugs. As a father to his five sons, he was a hero. He will be missed.
